ABOUT KC3D

Every part. Every detail. Every dimension.

KC3D is a solo 3D design studio built on eight years of self-taught, field-tested experience. What started as a personal obsession with understanding how things fit together has grown into a full design practice grounded in real-world craft and precision.

With a hands-on background spanning the full spectrum of metalwork, fabrication, machining, and welding, every model that comes out of KC3D is built with the shop floor in mind. There's no guesswork on tolerances, no designs that look good on screen but fall apart in practice. The experience of working with actual metal, actual tools, and actual constraints shapes every decision made in the software.

KC3D works primarily with overlanders and hobbyists who want professional-grade design without having to navigate a large studio or agency. Whether it's a custom bracket, a complex assembly, a product render for a build thread, or a full exploded view for a fabrication project, the goal is always the same: give passionate people access to the kind of design work that used to be out of reach.

KC3D also formally teaches 3D modelling, bringing the same hands-on, no-nonsense approach to helping others develop their skills. The belief is simple — good design shouldn't be gatekept. If you can build it, you should be able to model it too.
